Rules and Regulation
- All students should be decently and neatly dressed. They must wear a clean white overcoat in the college and hospital premises.
- Students are strictly forbidden from ragging their juniors within or outside the college premises. Strict legal action will be imposed on whoever directly or indirectly commits, participates in, abets or propagates ragging, which includes imprisonment with fine in addition to the suspension and dismissal of the student.
- No meetings or demonstrations shall be held in the premises of college, hospital or hostel without the written permission of the Dean.
- Students are forbidden to take part in political agitations, strikes and demonstrations.
- Student’s association will be formed by the students, only after a written permission from the Dean.
- Students should not circulate notices, pamphlets, journals or any other form of literature in the institution without the permission of the Dean.
- All students should possess an identity card compulsorily.
- Students should address the Director of Medical Education &
Research or the Government only through the Dean. - Communications to the Dean should be done individually and not collectively.
- The examination applications of the concerned students will not be forwarded to the University, if there are any dues with regard to Tuition Fees and Special Fees.
- The students should get prior written permission from the Dean, before arranging educational tours.
- Attendance:
- Each student is required to attend punctually, at the scheduled hour for lectures, dissection, practicals,out patient departments, wards etc.
- Each student must have minimum of 75% attendance in theory and 80% in practical clinical for eligibility to appear for the examinations in that subject.
- Students should not absent themselves from classes without prior permission and should submit a leave letter giving reasons for their absence.
- The students who are sick shall intimate the Dean in writing, with a Medical Certificate requesting grant of leave for the period of absence through the Heads of the Departments.
